About Dennis

Born and raised in Nebraska, I attended Iowa State and graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a business degree. My wife Carol is a registered nurse and has given her last few years to seniors as a hospice nurse. We have 4 children who have given us 11 grandchildren and 1 great grand child. We moved to the warmth of Arizona in 1996.

I have maintained an insurance brokers license for over 40 years. I taught continuing education classes to Nebraska agents, and also  insurance classes at the University of Nebraska. I held a security license for over 10 years.

I became a reverse mortgage loan consultant 3 years ago. My reason for joining 1st Mariner Bank was not only because they are a national lender and a leader in the industry, but their view of helping seniors. We all believe a reverse mortgage needs to be implemented only if it serves the right needs and is part of the overall cash asset management plan.
